About this System-AEGIS was created by the Geographical Research Laboratory in the Department of Physical and Earth Sciences of Jacksonville State University and Friends of Rural Alabama. The system operates with ArcGIS 9.2 and ArcServer, from ESRI, to provide the maps and environmental data to anyone who has internet capabilities.
